Here is a green smoothie recipe you are bound to enjoy. There is no place as tropical as Buckeye, Arizona when we make this tropical green smoothie. Ingredients (Makes approximately 2 cups):

  • 1 cup liquid (filtered water, coconut water, rice or nut milk)
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia or Flax Seeds (Optional)
  • 15-20 grams of Greens (spinach, Kale, chard, collard, or leaf lettuce) with or without stalks
  • Approximately 230 grams of Frozen Fruit (we use the following):
  • 1 frozen banana (approximately 100 grams)
  • 5-ish frozen pineapple chunks (approximately 80 grams)
  • 3-ish chunks of frozen mango (approximately 30 grams) (when frozen mango is not available, we add more pineapple
  • 1 frozen Strawberry or mixed berries (approximately 20 grams)
